AACSB Accreditation

One of the best business schools in the world

Loyola University New Orleans College of Business is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Less than six percent of business schools worldwide hold this prestigious accreditation, which signals the highest standard of quality in business education.

AACSB is a global association dedicated to the rigorous advancement and societal impact of business education worldwide, with over 1,100 member institutions in 70 countries. It serves as the premier accreditation body for business and accounting programs at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels worldwide, and provides member institutions with continuous review, professional development and training.

Loyola’s baccalaureate business programs first earned AACSB accreditation in 1950, with graduate programs earning accreditation in 1974. The College most recently completed a successful maintenance of accreditation review in 2023.

To remain accredited, schools must complete a rigorous review every six years. During this process, colleges demonstrate their commitment to continuous improvement and must meet a series of accreditation standards related to strategic management and innovation, faculty qualification and thought leadership, assurance of learner success, teaching effectiveness and curricular innovation, and societal engagement and impact.

The College of Business' AACSB accreditation assures students, parents, employers, and partners that our programs meet a globally recognized benchmark of excellence and that Loyola is continually improving to prepare future business leaders.
