About the Global MBA- Triple Master Program

The Global MBA- Triple Master Program at Loyola University New Orleans allows students to earn their MBAs in three Business Schools, in three countries, across two continents. This program fully integrates three world-class universities into a rigorous international MBA degree program, and allows for students to earn two additional masters with our partner universities: a Master of Science in Management from Germany’s top-ranked Ludwig-Maximilians-University, and the extremely coveted Diplôme Grand École from SKEMA, one of the most prestigious French Business Schools. It provides opportunities to study abroad in Paris, France and Munich, Germany to experience different cultural settings and deal with the challenges of a global economy.

Application Deadlines

The Global MBA admits students every fall semester. Our cohort model allows students to start with and graduate with their same classmates, enhancing networking and camaraderie amongst students. Application deadlines are below:

  • Priority Deadline: May 15
  • Regular Deadline: June 30

 

Application Requirements (All Applicants)

To earn all three degrees, applicants must meet the admission requirements of each partner school. To apply, submit the following to Loyola University New Orleans:

  • Application form

  • $50 application fee (temporarily waived)

  • Current résumé

  • Two letters of recommendation (professional references)

  • Official transcripts from all institutions attended (undergraduate, graduate, and professional)

  • Copy of bachelor’s degree diploma

  • Online interview

  • Statement of purpose (400 words) addressing:

    • Why do you want to pursue the Global MBA / Triple Degree?

    • How will the program enhance your academic and/or professional background?

    • What makes you an ideal candidate?

  • Optional: Official GMAT or GRE score report

Important: Documents sent directly by applicants are considered unofficial/self-reported. Official test scores and transcripts must be sent directly from the issuing institution or testing agency. Once all official materials are received and requirements are met, your application will be sent to the program for review.

 

International Applicants (Additional Requirements)

International applicants must also submit:

  • Affidavit of Support showing sufficient funding for tuition and living expenses

  • Official English proficiency scores: TOEFLIELTS or Duolingo. More details on this requirement can be found here. Scores sent directly from the applicant are considered self-reported and unofficial. It is the responsibility of the applicant to arrange for the testing agencies and to send your official documents directly to us. 

  • Translated academic records (if degrees were completed outside the U.S.). Transcript evaluations accepted through WES, ECE, or SpanTran

  • APS Certificate (required for applicants from China or Vietnam)

  • If prompted for a CEEB code and your institution is not listed, enter: 000004

Once all official materials are received and requirements are met, your application will be sent to the program for review.

Note: LMU has additional requirements—all undergraduate degrees must be verified by ANABIN before enrollment.

Tuition and Fee Schedule

Tuition and fees for the Global MBA-Triple Master program are billed per credit hour enrolled every semester. Students are billed after registration and tuition bills are due by the first day of classes.

Graduate Assistantships

The College of Business offers Global MBA students the unique opportunity of scholarship and work-experience with our Graduate Assistantship positions. Graduate assistants work closely with one or more business professors on academic research, grant administration, and special event planning. Several of our recent graduate assistants have co-authored publications with professors. These are hourly paid positions. Students must be admitted and active students in order to be considered for assistantship opportunities.

 

Academic Scholarships

Global MBA / Triple Degree applicants who submit GMAT scores may be considered for merit-based scholarships. Please note that scholarships are partial awards and do not cover full program tuition.

Ludwig Maximilians University (LMU) Munich School of Management.

The LMU Munich School of Management is a public research university located in Munich, Germany. It is among Germany's oldest universities. It has been considered as one of Germany's and Europe's most prestigious universities; with 34 Nobel laureates associated with the university. Indeed, LMU was ranked as the 40th Best Global University in 2018 by U.S. News & World Report. Pope Benedict XVI was also a student and professor at the university. LMU has been conferred the title of "elite university" under the German Universities Excellence Initiative launched first in 2006. Since then, LMU has renewed this status in the consecutive rounds of this competition.

Where do I send my transcripts?

Transcripts must be sent directly from the awarding institution to the Office of Admissions at Loyola University New Orleans. Transcripts sent by the prospective student will not be accepted. Transcripts can be sent in official electronic format to gradadmit@loyno.edu or in the mail to:

What happens if I graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's degree outside of the United States?

An official, translated copy of academic records (transcripts) is required for applicants who attended or completed their bachelor's and/or master's degree outside of the United States. We typically accept transcripts from ECEWES, or Spantran.  

 

When do you admit students for the Global MBA program? Can I apply year round?

Applications are reviewed year round, but students will be admitted in Fall terms only. 

 

When accepted, am I accepted to all three universities? 

Yes. Students applying to the Global MBA - Triple Master program will complete one application, and your admissions packet will be reviewed by an admissions committee composed of staff from all three universities. You will receive one admissions decision, which is applicable to the Global MBA at all three campuses. This admission only makes you eligible to study in the Global MBA -Triple Master program.

 

Is an interview required?

Yes. You can schedule your interview in your Admissions Portal once you have submitted your application requirements including resume, essay, recommendations, GMAT or GRE scores and official transcripts. 

 

Is the TOEFL, IELTS or Duolingo required for International students?

Yes. International students must submit either a TOEFL, IELTS or Duolingo score report verifying at least an intermediate level of English. Only those international students who obtained a degree from a college or university where English was the language of instruction can potentially waive the exam requirement. These exceptions will be made individually, and more details can be found here.

The TOEFL ITP cannot be substituted for the TOEFL IBT (internet based test). 

The MBA program requires the following scores (or higher) for each exam:

  • TOEFL: 90
  • IELTS: 6.5
  • Duolingo: 110
