A successful MBA applicant has demonstrated a foundation in business and a readiness for advanced studies through relevant work experience and/or undergraduate coursework. In general, strong candidates have completed some foundational coursework in both quantitative and analytical subjects, such as statistics, accounting, marketing, management, and/or finance. Oftentimes, candidates have also acquired professional experience in roles or industries that reflect a specific understanding of the business landscape, including work in management or leadership positions. Successful candidates can also communicate their career goals clearly and articulate how an MBA aligns with their objectives at this stage in their academic and professional development.
