About the Fast-Track MBA
The full-time Fast-Track MBA program is designed for recent graduates who want to complete an MBA in one year of focused study.
Students follow a structured, full-time format by enrolling in 12 credit hours each Fall, Spring, and Summer semester. The program is accelerated and therefore requires enrollment every semester. Students who need to take a break are not eligible to return in the Fast Track MBA format.
Students who are required to complete BA 601 (Quantitative Decisions for Business Mathematics) will take the additional three-credit course during their first semester.
Fast-Track MBA students learn alongside experienced executives and engage in hands-on, experiential coursework that emphasizes real-world application. The program also offers opportunities to gain professional experience through optional graduate assistantship positions with faculty and College of Business centers, including the Center for Entrepreneurship and Community Development.

A successful MBA applicant has demonstrated a foundation in business and a readiness for advanced studies through relevant work experience and/or undergraduate coursework. In general, strong candidates have completed some foundational coursework in both quantitative and analytical subjects, such as statistics, accounting, marketing, management, and/or finance. Oftentimes, candidates have also acquired professional experience in roles or industries that reflect a specific understanding of the business landscape, including work in management or leadership positions. Successful candidates can also communicate their career goals clearly and articulate how an MBA aligns with their objectives at this stage in their academic and professional development.
