The International Business curriculum combines Loyola’s business core courses in economics, marketing, management, and accounting with specialized global coursework and real-world immersion. In addition to studying abroad, you’ll complete an internship—either internationally or at home with a global focus—giving you the experience employers expect.

  • International Management

Learn the essentials of managing people and organizations across borders, with a focus on cultural differences, leadership styles, and global teamwork.

  • International Entrepreneurship

Discover how entrepreneurs launch and grow businesses internationally. From global startup ecosystems to scaling across borders, you’ll see how innovation drives opportunity.

  • Emerging Markets: Latin America or Asia

Dive into the fast-changing economies of Latin America or Asia. This course examines growth opportunities, regulatory challenges, and cultural dynamics shaping these regions.

  • Global Production Networks

Follow how goods and services move through worldwide supply chains. You’ll look at logistics, sourcing, and the strategies companies use to stay competitive.

  • Special Topics in Business: Costa Rica (January Term)

A two-week faculty-led immersion into sustainability, entrepreneurship, and culture in Costa Rica. Learn firsthand how business and the environment connect in a global context. More info here.
